On Saturday night my husband and I attended the final Mayoral dinner for Joan Holmes the Mayor of Brentwood.

Care Quality Commission

On Friday I attended a session on the new Care Quality Commission ( CQC) annual inspection regime. It’s very important that such inspection take place so the public can be assured of the quality of our services.

Fundraisers – A Big Thank You

On Thursday evening I attended our Fundraiser thank you evening for all our supporters who have given such fantastic time, money and commitment to events such as the quizzes, marathons, star trek walk, woofs and Welles, balls , rotaries and many other events for the hospice .

A real big thank you to everyone, we couldn’t do what we do without them.

Board of Trustees

On Tuesday we had our council of management meeting with the trustees and we agreed to the changes following review. The council of management will become the Board of Trustees from July 1st with new committees reporting to it – clinical governance, corporate governance, finance, audit and investment, and voluntary income with a trustee steering group.

Havens Hospice
