Transport for London (TFL) – Bus Service to Hospice

An important meeting was held at the Hospice in June by Transport for London to discuss what improvements can be made to bus services to the Hospice and the village of Havering ate Bower.  There was some really positive signs that real planning and funding is available to get the current service running every hour (instead of every 1 and half hours), if a turning space can be found near the Havering/Essex Border.  This is phase 1.  Also in phase 1 is a commitment from TFL to make sure that Saint Francis is clear on the bus stop signs, and on the bus stop.  Phase 2 would be to jointly try to increase the number of people using the service so that TFL would consider running the service on a Sunday and Bank Holidays.  Watch this space for a further update on this important development.
